Sadhika Randhawa also known as Saadhika, is a beautiful Indian actress. Saadhika with her beautiful serene looks is a frank yet composed person. The actress who made her debut with Saawan Kumar’s immensely forgettable “Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya” and then disappeared from the spotlight. Hailing from a Sikh army background. Her father initially wanted her to become an engineer but once she got the offers from Bollywood they supported her. She has a model-sister named Jesse who has always stood by her and both share a great relationship.
Saadhika made her first entry into the glamour world when she won the Jaipur Queen’s Crown in 1993. It was there that Saawan Kumar noticed and signed her. After that the lady went on to a role in the film Shikar, and an item number in the film Satta. But soon the actress was exploring the industry down South and was written-off from Bollywood.
She appeared in movies like “Kash... Aap Hamare Hote” (2003) along with Sonu Nigam and Juhi babbar. She was also seen in the movie “Bullet: Ek Dhamaka” (2005). But none of the movies did well.
She thinks that her moving down South was her greatest mistake. She says that she lost out on some good offers in Bollywood because of her inability to manage things. But now she wants to concentrate only on Bollywood. Saadhika is ready to work in all kinds of languages. But she wants to do some big banner films because that’s perhaps the right way to reach out to large audiences. Besides doing several stage shows, Saadhika has also worked in Daler Mehendi’s music album Nabibuba .
After 11 years in the film industry Saadhika today has many movies in her kitty and his ready to play her second innings in Bollywood, from Rajiv Ruia’s “Love in India”, “Ananth” opposite “Krishna” (Govinda’s nephew), and Raj Sippy’s “Khujali ”to“ Aye Watan.
She is a Punjabi and loves Punjabi food like rajma-chawal as well as Chinese and Italian khana. Saadhika’s dream role is to do a Charlie’s Angles as she is very fond of action movies and according to her she can really play those roles well.
